Product Overview：

We supply carbon steel grade for general service and stainless steel grade for corrosive environment. Strict control on wall‑thickness uniformity, concentricity and residual stress to minimize deformation after honing. Widely used for construction machinery, mining equipment, marine, chemical and food‑grade hydraulic cylinders.

Key Features：

✅Controlled wall eccentricity and concentricity, less honing stock removal, lower tool wear and better finished‑product yield. 

✅Stress‑relieved annealing treatment is preferred to reduce residual stress and avoid deformation after honing. 

✅Controlled surface quality without heavy oxide scale, eddy‑current test available for internal defect inspection. 

✅Stable mechanical property, good resistance to bulging and cracking under working pressure; stainless steel option for anti‑corrosion requirement.

✅Custom OD, wall thickness and fixed length available; MTR certificate EN10204‑3.1B provided upon request.

Applicable Standards

Carbon Steel‑Pre‑honing blank: GB/T3639‑2021, EN10305‑4 for hydraulic‑pneumatic system,ASTM A519

Stainless Steel‑Pre‑honing blank: GB/T14975, GB/T14976, EN10216‑5, ASTM A269, ASTM A312.

Note: No unified international standard for finished honed tube. Inner dimension & surface roughness are subject to customer technical agreement.

‑E235 / 20#: Low‑pressure cylinder
‑E255 / 45#: Medium‑pressure cylinder
‑E355 (St52) / Q355B: Main grade for medium‑high pressure construction cylinders
‑42CrMo: Heavy‑duty high‑pressure service.

Stainless Steel
‑1.4301 (304): Fresh‑water & general food‑grade service
‑1.4307 (304L): Welding application
‑1.4404 (316L): Preferred for marine & salt‑water condition
‑1.4462 (2205 Duplex): Severe‑corrosion & high‑pressure working condition.

Delivery Condition

Blank tube preferred: +SR (BKS) stress‑relieved annealing; BK hard‑drawn not recommended‑Stainless‑steel blank: Solution‑annealed plus stress‑relieved treatment ‑Finished honed tube: Inner bore dimension, roughness and tolerance according to customer drawings.

Applications

Hydraulic cylinders for construction machinery, mining, agriculture, lifting equipment, pneumatic components; stainless‑steel honed tubes for marine equipment, chemical plant, food & pharmaceutical industry.

Inner tolerance and surface roughness of honed tube are custom technical specifications, should be clearly stated in order. Hydro‑static test to be specified separately if required.
